This is a big win for us and we'll try to get another one tomorrow (at Minnesota). Boris Diaw and Flip Murray each scored 16 points in a winning cause. The Bobcats are currently seventh in the Eastern Conference standings and sport a 6-19 mark as the visitor this season. Minnesota hopes to get back in the win column Wednesday evening after having its four-game winning streak cut short with last night's 119-97 setback at Philadelphia. Wayne Ellington, a Philadelphia-area native, led the Wolves with 16 points, while Corey Brewer and Jonny Flynn each netted 14 in defeat. Al Jefferson had 12 points to go with 10 rebounds in the loss. "They thrive off of turnovers and one-on-one play," Timberwolves center Ryan Hollins said. "They were hitting their shots tonight. You can't turn the ball over. That's probably one of the worst teams in the NBA you want to do that against." The Timberwolves have won three in a row in the Twin Cities and are 9-17 as the host this season. Wednesday's showdown between the Bobcats and Timberwolves is the first of two meetings this season. These two teams split a pair of matchups last season, but Charlotte has won four of the previous five games in the series.
