Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - The Cleveland Cavaliers' Anderson Varejao will likely miss the remainder of the season because of a right ankle and foot injury, the team announced Sunday. Varejao suffered the injury during Thursday's practice in Cleveland, and X- rays and an MRI revealed a damaged peroneus longus tendon. Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - The Cleveland Cavaliers announced that forward Leon Powe had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee on Friday. Powe had an MRI done by Cleveland team physician Dr. Richard Parker at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health and it revealed the injury. Parker then performed the surgery and Powe will now undergo rest, treatment and rehabilitation. It is expected that he will be out approximately six weeks.
